Wow. And this is the year 2009? WTF?

I&#039;m Jewish and I know that religious Jews who practice Shabbat laws (yep, there are lots of them, and they basically say you&#039;re not allowed to do much of anything-- you can have sex, though) often circumvent them by using timers on electrical appliances, including lights-- apparently, God doesn&#039;t mind. I have a friend who doesn&#039;t spend money on Shabbat, but for some reason thinks it doesn&#039;t count if it&#039;s his credit card!</description>
