The first email I received from the theistic education course has arrived, and its tactics are unsurprising.

The internet is covered by ads offering answers to philosophical, religious and spiritual questions. Is there any value or merit in these courses, and what will happen to a sceptic if they sign up?

Origin is a tricky subject to understand. Whilst religion claims to know all the answers, even to questions we haven’t asked yet, science strives to improve its understanding, answering and asking questions along the way. Yet when theists use the question of origin as an argument for the existence of a God, they see a lack of knowledge as a strength rather than a weakness, and latch on to it, manipulating it to their own end.
